Our Beliefs

We believe that a thriving life is rooted in an intergenerational community where wise, experienced mentors live side-by-side with young women finding their way. We invest in permanent mentor cottages that provide a stable, long-term foundation for the community, alongside 3-year youth cottages designed to offer a secure transition with the flexibility for extension based on individual growth.

Our Aims

Our aim is to catalyze systemic social change by proving that intergenerational living breaks the trajectory of isolation for young women aging out of foster care. By fostering these permanent bonds, we aim to create a long-term impact where mentors find renewed purpose and young women build the life skills and confidence needed to cultivate their own rooted futures.

Programs for Young Women

  • Comprehensive housing in safe, stable cottage environments.
  • Direct mentorship and guidance from experienced resident mentors.
  • Tailored life-skills support for independent living.
  • Strategic social services connections for holistic health.
  • Access to shared community spaces for connection and belonging.

Mentor Opportunities

  • Long-term housing for mentors within the cottage community.
  • Active role in the daily life and rhythms of the village.
  • Direct support and wisdom-sharing with youth aging out of care.
  • A community to grow and rediscover purpose in later stages of life.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the power of intergenerational community. By bringing together the wisdom of experienced mentors and the potential of young women, we create a supportive ecosystem where resilience is shared and growth is inevitable. Life is better when we don't have to walk the path alone.

We believe in stability through permanent mentor cottages. Our mentors are long-term residents who provide a steady, living example of adulthood. Their presence ensures that guidance isn't just a scheduled meeting, but a natural, everyday rhythm of neighborhood life.

We believe in a three-year commitment to our youth. Each young woman is provided a cottage for up to three years, with the possibility of extension based on individual needs and goals. This period allows for genuine healing, skill acquisition, and the cultivation of a future that truly takes root.
